Honeymoon In Thailand
Some of the more “artistic” shots from my recent travels to Thailand
This was our boat. The captain would wait for us on the beach near our resort, we would jump onboard and he would take us wherever we wanted to go. Amazing!
A Long Way To Go
A quick snap while our ferry dropped anchor to disembark some passengers on our way to Krabi pier
Just before you board the ferry at Krabi pier you are greeted with a sea of longtail boats all waiting to take tourists to the local islands.
2 statues (I think these are called Komainu) guarding a doorway at Wat Benjamabophit (The Marble Temple) in Bangkok. King Rama V built this temple in 1899.
Khim & Jakhe
I have no idea what these lovely ladies names are but were expertly playing two traditional thai instuemnts called Khim and Jakhe
The leaning tower of Bangkok
No matter how many times I snapped it, from a number of different angles, the Millennium Hilton in Bangkok just kept appearing to lean. Strange.
Sunset in the East
After a day of sailing around the islands of Phi Phi, our captain stopped to let us enjoy the sunset. A neighbouring boat had the same idea.
The only way to travel in Thailand is to jump onboard a longtail boat and zoom from island to island.
