Drive By [Explored]

A slow shutter speed shot of the light parade at the Magic Kingdom. I had to fight for a decent spot to take this shot. Really happy with the sense of movement though 🙂 [Explored #129 on 31/1/11]

Together (version 2)

Portrait crop suggestion from one of my original Hale photos. This was just one of those shots were you catch the composition out of the corner of your eye, stop, whip the camera out and thank your lucky stars you did. I'm so happy with this picture 😀

Giant Neon Whisk

One of my first experiments with slow shutter speeds. It was taken using a gorillapod that was strapped onto the fence above the ride "Insanity" at the top of the Stratosphere hotel and casino in LV. I love the traffic down below, just wish you could hear the screams 😉 Please feel free to post feedback, comments or suggestions 🙂

Crossing

My first upload to Flickr with Photoshopped pictures. This is a composite of 2 shots, each with exposures of 25 seconds, taken by a fairly busy (and frankly quite dangerous) crossing in my local town. Please feel free to post feedback, comments or suggestions 🙂

The Road To Nowhere

This shot was really awkward as I was leaning out of the moving vehicle just to try and avoid the radio antenna that was polluting all my shots. The result was this rather wonky shot, but I really like the way that the lines work as a result of it's unevenness 🙂 I was actually trying my hardest to not get any of the car in the shot at all but I'm glad I did as the reflection of the sun on the bonnet is great 🙂 Please feel free to post feedback, comments or suggestions 🙂

One of my favorite shots. Such a strange thing to have in the middle of the street. I just love the colour 🙂 and the two people walking past add a great sense of scale. My only complaint with this shot is the very top of the cube has been cut off due to a lack of concentration on my part 🙁 Please feel free to post feedback, comments or suggestions 🙂

NY Pigeon - Surveying All That He Owns

This little fella was a star. He just stood their in a multitude of poses and let me snap away. I love his "this is all mine" expression on his face (if pigeons can even have expressions!?) Please feel free to post feedback, comments or suggestions 🙂
